Pet Health Plans
Pet Health Plans are preventive health packages for cats, dogs and rabbits that you design and clients pay for monthly. As long as your plans include vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and six-monthly health checks as a minimum, anything else you add to the package is up to you and we’ll work with you to design attractive, effective health plans. You can vary the plans by species, age, gender and weight as you wish to make them your own, and we’ll help you price them, based on your retail prices and applying any overall or item discount you decide (using our bespoke design and pricing system).
Pet Health Loans
Pet Health Loans are interest-free loans (TYPICAL 0% APR) to any client for any veterinary treatment (subject to status and credit check). Clients don’t need to have a Pet Health Plan and the loans can be used for emergency or routine treatment yet to be done, or to repay a debt for treatment already given. Once a loan is processed (on the spot, over the phone to us) you receive payment, up front which is yours to keep, less the administration charge. We and the loan provider carry the risk of the client not repaying the loan.
We can set you up to offer Pet Health Loans as soon as you are offering Pet Health Plans (subject to acceptance by credit provider). You will need a Consumer Credit Licence and we’ll guide you through anything else you need to do, including providing you with the training we are obliged to give you. As you might have noticed, when you offer Pet Health Loans through The Practice Business you can be sure everything will be processed and communicated correctly and in accordance with legislation.
Please note: Pet Health Loans are not available in the Channel Islands.
